Concord, N.C. (May 26, 2010) – As Charlotte Motor Speedway hosts NASCAR’s annual Memorial Day weekend of stock car racing competition, Michael Annett and Germain Racing’s No. 15 Nationwide Series team will help bring awareness to the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® for Saturday’s Nationwide Series Tech-Net Auto Service 300.
The No. 15 Toyota Camry will feature the St. Jude logo on the hood, deck lid and rear quarter panels in support of St. Jude, one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers. Loyal sponsor, Pilot Travel Centers takes pride in supporting St. Jude and their mission of finding cures and saving children.

Bob Germain Jr., president of Germain Racing, is active in support of many childrens charities. When he learned of Pilot Travel Centers efforts to raise awareness of St. Jude, Germain was quick to offer the hood of the No. 15 Germain Racing Camry to help the cause.
“St. Jude makes a tremendous contribution toward helping juvenile patients overcome a variety of life-threatening diseases. Catastrophic childhood disease is a very personal subject for my wife and I as my stepdaughter, Sydney, suffers from juvenile diabetes. Annett’s charitable outlook is the same, “I’ve always had a special place in my heart for organizations that support children. Every day I wear a ‘Will Power’ bracelet to support a family friend, six-year-old Will Krueger, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2008. I’m honored to be a part of this awareness effort and to support St.
Jude’s goals to help children win their health back.”
NASCAR Nationwide Series cars hit the banks of Charlotte Motor Speedway for practice on Thursday at 2 p.m. and final practice at 5:10 p.m.
Qualifying takes place on Saturday at 9:35 a.m. and the green flag drops for the start of the Tech-Net Auto Service 300 at 2:30 p.m. Practice, final practice and qualifying can be seen live on SPEED. Watch and listen to a live broadcast of the race on ABC and PRN Radio beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday. All times are ET.
